Fairmont Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort is an idyllic luxury resort in United Arab Emirates. It's a 5-star property with 180 guest rooms and suites along with 5 F&B outlets.
Provision served as the main contractor for all joinery works.
THE CHALLENGE
Provision was tasked with obtaining a specific fabric that was previously exceeding the budgeted project cost.
The MoQ from the manufacturer was 1000 meters whereas the requirement was 300 meters.
Since the fabric was of a proprietary nature with a unique poly-cotton blend, it caused a significant increase in cost. Sourcing alternate fabrics would result in a complete re-selection, causing overall delays in the delivery of the project.
OUR SOLUTION
Utilizing leverage with a multinational OEM fabric provider, Provision supplied them with a swatch of the fabric. The OEM provider created a design similar to the original product while also avoiding design infringements and meeting technical specifications.
The swatch also met the designer’s requirements.
Our long-standing relationship with the OEM provider ensured a reduction of the MoQ for mass production and timely delivery, within budget.
