Darryl Rego has over 25 years of global experience in general management and F&B and supply chain management in the hospitality industry.

• Previous experience includes Director of Strategic Accounts at Avendra LLC, a leading hospitality procurement services firm, wherein he was tasked with managing a portfolio of ‘top to top’ clients with spend in excess of $250 million.
• Prior to Avendra, Darryl worked with Marriott International as Director of Purchasing in New York, NY where he was instrumental in implementing a shared financial service model for the company within the New York market and managing a budget of $100 million along with managing owner funded renovation projects.
• Swiss Higher Diploma (B.A. equivalent) from Ecole Hotelier de Montreux in Switzerland and an Executive MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, USA

William Tilghman

William Tilghman was the Chief Legal Officer of Avendra, LLC and its immediate predecessor, Marketplace by Marriott, LLC, from 1998 to 2009.

• Bill’s prior experience includes a successful term as majority owner and President of Sunstates Refrigerated Services Inc.
• He has direct, first-hand knowledge of all phases of the hospitality procurement services model from its design down to its day-to-day operations. His relevant legal duties, in addition to conventional corporate legal tasks, included the supervision and negotiation of all Avendra supplier contracts and all Avendra customer contracts.
• B.A. from Yale University, New Haven, CT, USA and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, New York, USA.

Homi Gazdar

Homi Gazdar has over 30 years experience in property development and project management covering projects in the UAE, USA, India and UK.

His career span has included working with leading architects and developers of major projects coverings hotels, hospitals, public buildings and townships.

• His previous experience includes working with Dubai Sports City from its inception, a well received and established major project.
• Additionally, Homi also served as CEO of Sports Cities International and developer of multi-billion dollar projects in Dubai, Tunis and Morocco.
• Studied Engineering at London University, U.K.

Julian Chang

Julian Chang is the co-founder and Senior Partner at the Cambridge China Group and co-editor of China Rules: Globalization & Political Transformation.

He also serves as the Executive Director of the Rajawali Foundation Institute for Asia at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation.

• Co-founder of the Kennedy School's annual 'China Goes Global' conference.
• Member of X-RG, a Hong Kong consultancy that develops and implements China strategies for leading international companies.
• Currently leading a Harvard-based leading a team looking at the nature and dynamics of the outbound investment activity of Chinese enterprises.

• BA from Yale and his PhD from Harvard University in political science with a dissertation on political marketing in China.
